God is Still God, and He is Good [VIDEO]

Some of my first thoughts after the jump.

I absolutely love video and it’s ability to tell stories. To move us.

I don’t know about you, but I went through a full spectrum of emotions watching this.

I want to be where Zac is. No, I don’t want cancer or any other life-threatening issue. I want the faith and clarity. I want to be able to say without a doubt that God is still God, and He is Good- I just don’t know if I’m there yet.

As many of you know, I used to work for a church. On November 2, 2009 I had a meeting that changed that. I haven’t gone into details with this- and that’s on purpose, because, frankly, it’s none of your business. However, I will say that these past few months have been the hardest my family and I have ever faced.

It’s the money.
It’s the loss of relationships.
It’s the balancing act.

Individually, each portion of our journey recently doesn’t come to much. It’s the whole that weighs on us, that weighs on me.

So….

It’s the different ways of income.
It’s the new relationships.
It’s still a balancing act.

Me and my family covet your prayers, good thoughts, whatever you want to call them, now more than ever. For continued provision, guidance, and clarity.
