On Susan Boyle…
If you haven’t seen THE performance, please do so now:
I won’t take the time to say what’s already been said by Pete Wilson on his blog (all of which I couldn’t agree more with).
I’ve written countless Susan Boyles off. And what’s done is done. The only question left for me: “What will I do when I encounter my next Susan Boyle?”

I dont wish to be rude or mean toward you, but I genuinely hope that this post and others like it are driven by a need to publicly show how generous in spririt you consider yourself to be. The alternative is that it took a ghastly British talent show to teach you that beauty is only skin deep – and that alternative is scary.

Rory,
Susan Boyle didn’t teach me anything new per se. She just reminded me of what I already knew, but had allowed to be pushed aside by my own preoccupations. The post is not meant to be self-righteous at all, nor to boast whatsoever in myself- to be a braggart. I sincerely apologize if I offended, I didn’t intend to. Thank you.

Offended! Never….
I was just mortally worried to think that someone may have learnt a life lesson from Britain’s Got Talent. I live in Britian, and let me tell you, talent is not the first thing that comes to mind when I turtn on the TV.
Take care.
